SunGATE is located on a 17Ha parcel of land on the corner of the
Bruce Highway and Pumicestone Road, Caboolture. The site is iconic
to the local community and to the 110,000 commuters who pass the site
each day. The site was formerly known as "The Big Fish" where
activities such as a Fishing Lake and Go Kart track were alive and
happening in the 1990s. Since this time the site has seen little progress
and this is where DGS Property Group saw a vision to create
something unique which would help fulfil the demand for additional space to serve the local community and to allow other business operators to establish themselves within the region.

The site already accommodates a number of users including Caltex,
M1 Motel, Humble Pie,Conference on SunGATE, Slimline Tanks and the
Big Fish Tavern. Approval has also been granted for 1000m2 of retail and
a child care facility. Construction of this stage of development is due to
commence in late 2008. Committed tenants for the first stage of retail include
a SPAR Supermarket, Chemist, Newsagent and a Hairdresser.

In addition to the above, DGS have lodged a development application with
Moreton Bay Regional Council seeking endorsement of the proposed
SunGATE Master Plan which will see the balance of the site transformed
into a vibrant mixed-use development.

If approved, the site will support a broad range of uses
from office, retail to warehousing and light industry.
